Optimizing sound

How do these settings look for optimal sound quality? I've been fiddling with sound the last few days- when I turned on iTunes the other day, in the speakers it sounded too bright and too trebly. But I've boosted bass and dropped treble, and I still can't get it the way I want. The headphones sound fine.

The first is my iTunes Equalizer setting.

Optimizing TV as Monitor for PC use
I currently have my PC connected to a Sony 46inch TV. It's a HDTV capable of outputting 1080p. I didn't have any problems connecting but the picture is really blurry even at max resolution of 1920x1280. Any ideas how to solve that problem?
