Does anyone know how i can totally clear the music Library in media player 12 win7 ?

what I have done is changed drive letters so the library links are no longer valid in media player but they wont delete

managed to sort it but to be honest i don't know how i did it

i went into the media player folder and clicked a few of the EXE files to see it they give me any options nothing happened

but when i opened media player again everything had been reset even my volume control was set to default when i know for a fact i had it up at the highest setting as i use the volume control on my sound card breakout box

    navigate: C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Local\Microsoft
and delete the 'Media Player' folder.

If the files still exist in the same location, all will be regenerated within the player,
otherwise all the cached info will be gone, and so will the thumbs within the player.

    Clear music library

The way that I found is open Media Player (not Media Center). Go to Tools - Advanced - Restore Media Library.

I guess the library is shared with Media Center. When it repopulates the library automatically, it only shows one entry instead of two or three.
