Windows Media Player Will Not Open/Or Play

I have Windows 7 that came with my laptop and now (for the last few days or so) Windows Media Player does not open or play files. If I click on an MP3 file it will say "Server Execution Failed".

Is there a way I can reinstall it or get it fixed?
