Movie Files Have Other Program Icons At The Lower Right Corner

Normally, a movie has the Windows Media Player icon at the bottom right corner (more commonly noticed in music files), however my movies have other program icons at different sizes, such as the Windows Scripting Host icon and a WMA icon even though the file has the mp4 extension. As said, the smaller icon changes at different viewing sizes, the WSH icon at medium and small, and the wma icon at the large viewing size. Any ideas?

After restarting explorer (Windows desktop) twice the problem disappeared. Still, if anyone has any ideas about what caused this let me know.

I'm uploading screenshots to demonstrate the problem, it seems now that it has happened again, it has not affected wmv files... how strange... It also appears that the icons have manifested as new programs instead of the old listed ones.
