Thank for the update on your issue and welcome to SevenForums,
There's usually only one high speed usb port which would be gold tinted,
Odd it would prefer a usb port possible the others are wore out :/
    Cheers.

Thanks. I can't tell that any of them are gold tinted. The others shouldn't be worn out. I do almost everything on my iPhone so the computer doesn't get used much. (Figures since it's the first time I've had my own new laptop rather than a hand-me-down, lol.) My husband rarely uses it because he has his own computers. He's actually the computer guru. He didn't have time to figure out the issue before work yesterday though so I decided to have a go. I really just joined the forum afterwards to let others know that post had been helpful for me.

Can you help me how to Re-update Iphone 4 from IOS 7.2 to IOS 5? Because i've locked Iphone which is not supporting Sim since i've updated it into IOS 7.2, before it was working on IOS 5. Because i want to use my sim & also wants my Gallery to show in my computer, which is not showing & i've to save my pictures in PC.

Resetting an iphone will most likely wipe the files clean so I doubt that would be advised to do,
If nothing else email them to yourself or use Onedrive app available at the apple app store it's a freebie,
    Cheers.

    Tears of Joy

I must apologize in advanced for commenting on a thread so old...

I've been itching my head on this problem for MONTHS (quite literally 6 months)! I've researched and tried/texted a million different fixes... None have worked - UNTIL NOW! I want to share my appreciation with you all!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was experiencing the same issue as the original poster of this thread. Same. Exact. Issue. I read through the entire string of comments and found the last one before his was fixed, and BOOM! worked for me too!

Thanks everyone, I was going over mountains just to get my photos off my iphone 6... now I can do it easily, as it should be.

Thanks, uninstalling and reinstalling the driver from Device Manager worked for me.
