Full screen video playback choppy in every program

I have a small Acer "media PC" connected to my 50" Panasonic plasma. I watch a lot of videos on this PC but all of a sudden full screen playback of any and all forms of video is choppy and skips. This is the case for all video types is all programs including GOM player, VLC, Windows media player, etc. Videos tend to behave when they're left at their normal size (just a window) but once they're made full screen they get choppy and are unwatchable. This is frustrating as I'm currently stuck having to convert all my videos to place on a flash drive and play directly through the TV

    Any thoughts?

How are you connecting to the t.v./ high speed/ Gold tipped hdmi ?
There are options for Output on the computer/ right click your desktop and point at Graphic's options,
Use Graphic's properties/ Help-support sections for links to check for Video card driver updates.
Have you noticed the five related threads listed on the bottom of your question ?

The problem still remains after trying a few things:

    -doing every possible Windows update
-updating the graphics card drivers (actually they were up to date)

Full screen video playback is fine for about 5 minutes then it becomes choppy in every program (GOM Player, WMP, VLC, etc.). Playback is still fine when kept to a small window.

    Got another hard drive?
    Reinstall windows.

    Or maybe some malware?
    I found this page helpful.

    Remove PUP.Optional.InstallCore.A - FixYourBrowser.com

At the bottom is JRT, junk removal tool. Run program as admin. I cleaned out 2 PC's and one is improved. The other did not have noticeable issues.
