Windows 7: Uncompressed AVI Problems

Uncompressed AVI Problems

I used to be able to record uncompressed footage of 480p games easily, with minor audio-sync issues, now the recordings won't even show thumbnails, crash Windows Explorer, take forever to load if opened in VirtualDub, and freeze Windows Media Player. I didn't change any settings, this just randomly started happening and I don't know why. I've tried disabling like Aero and all the other visual effects and maxing out everything (high priority, high performance power settings) and it still doesn't help the recording process fix itself. Something is bugged and I don't know what it is. I have K-Lite Codec Pack 9.5.0 64-bit and K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 9.9.0 32-bit installed.

"I would record uncompressed in Vdub, open it in Vdub and de-interlace it, double the frame-rate, resize it, save it, put it in Sony Vegas 12, color-correct, etc., render it uncompressed in Vegas, encode in MeGUI, upload to YT."
^This process worked before, now I can't get past recording.

These are my settings:
