WMP12 Library - Automatized Library Organization

Is there a way of making WMP organize all the library automatically looking for the albums on internet?
I have several .flac files that are in the unknown section of the WMP library, more than 100 albuns and I did once organized all of them, covers and etc, but seems that when I reinstalled the system, all that information wasn't transferred to the back up.
    Thanks!

to get your flacs to show in wmp you need to use this...

    wmp tag plus

    BM-productions

to see the flac tags integrated into windows explorer and see the albumart then try the
windows flac property handler, it has been kindly uploaded by tim de baets
    in this thread here
    Windows can't read FLAC tags

    First of all, thanks!
I use Shark007 Advanced codec pack. It's up to date.
My bad, I was sure the tag plus was working, but as the Fix It showed to me, I had a few issues and plus no tag plus was running here :-/
Also appeared an issue with pegasus picvideo, I've looked for it and it's a movie codec for motion jpeg, probably comes with some program, I never installed it consciously.

Still I have this problem after fixing the Tag Plus issue and the codecs issue:

It puts several albums, from different artists and folders in the same unknown album in library. The only way I know how to fix it is by hand select and sort ALL the music there. Is there another way?

Just curious how does the albums look like outside of wmplayer ?
Open your My Music folder or which ever location these files exist in/ Arrange by album,
Is there anything different/ do you see files outside the albums ?
Try the Details view as well.
You might try to remove the library from wmplayer and re-add it.
Organize on the top left/ Manage libraries/ Music/ remove both locations "My" music and Public music.

    P.S.
What utility did you use to produce the backup ?

A lot of them don't have all the correct information, some of them have like, music and author in the file name, not separated in the details.
I did what you described there yesterday and more then half of my library it did solved itself, but the rest has no image of the album cover, and not the correct information in some files. So far I'm organizing by hand again.
I use the WD software that came with the Western Digital My Book external hd.
Now I'm doing different, I'm using the back up folder as the library one and organizing right there, then I'll copy it to the PC. I'm afraid of messing up and have to rip EVERYTHING again, but I hope this is the last time I have to do it.
I'm still looking for some software to help me with that.
    Thank you for the answer!

in all honesty i gave up on wmp a few years ago because of the number of unknown files it had , despite them all being tagged properly, i had to rename them in wmp and then they would sort into the wmp library, but there were too many in the end for me to be bothered,
also i had issue of wmp not playing certain files even though it had played them before ,this was an issue also with the tags and they would need re tagging, so i stopped using it
i use winamp and select an album from my music folder and select all and play.
i dont use the winamp library system either as i dont like it.

Seeing that it worked before and now it's not leads me to believe the backup got messed up some how,
How is now the question and without being familiar with the utility makes it a bit difficult,
I would most likely side with Boohbah and test with another player,
iTunes is popular I believe everyone might have it or as winamp,
Possibly even VLC media player ?
    If you use Boohbah technic,
But I use iTunes more than wmplayer because the Mixer is readily available,
But then again I don't have a massive music library either.
On a long shot you can remove what's in wmplayer and turn it off in turn windows features on or off,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/5023-windows-features-turn-off.html
Then open the Media folder and Uncheck wmplayer boot when prompted,
Then repeat turning wmplayer back on.
    Then add the backup files.

I have Zune, it's better for arranging files, but it doesn't play flac and other formats. I must have it for windows phone, but I don't use it for music, half of my library is flac.
I'm gonna try this one: XBMC | Open Source Home Theatre Software seems good.
My fear now is mess with my library and make it worse or loose something.
I tried itunes, hated it, winup just the same, their library is not appealing, itunes is worst then wmp to organize the files. Also I'm used to wmp after so many years. VLC is really good player, but the library is also strange to organize files.
I hope this xmbc works as described on the site.
I would love one player that would just get online all the info of the folders and sort the library itself, I'm mean, I've ripped them properly at the time, individual folders, with correct names and etc.
If you have any more ideas, please tell me.
    Thank you for the help!
