Problem with accessing "Sample Pictures" Folder on External Hard Drive
I am attempting to get photos, documents, etc from a hard drive on another computer that has a bad motherboard. I have some photos the I located in the "sample pictures" folder that comes preinstalled within the main "mypictures" folder on all windows OS. I have the hard drive connected externally via usb to my other computer.
The problem is that the "sample pictures" folder from the new computer automatically takes the place of the "sample pictures" folder from the hard drive I'm trying to recover files from.
I've tried deleting the "sample pictures" folder from the new computer and access the folder on the old hard drive but it tells me it can not be located. I put a random file inside the "sample picture" folder on the new computer and then that is what was found in the folder on the old hard drive.
So I know what the issue is I just have no idea how to recover those files. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
