Can i classify .mkv files as 'Other Media' in WMP12?
In WMP11 using a codec pack it placed all .mkv files in the 'other media' section of the media player and whilst this meant no thumbnail previews like in the video section the .mkv files play perfectly and you could seek to wherever you wanted in the video.
Now in WMP12 (with a codec pack) .mkv files are places in the video section but all of these files are now '0 Seconds' duration which means i cannot seek to any point of the video.
Is there anyway i can with a registry hack or something make either .mkv files appear in the 'other media' section or make it so i can seek when they are in the video section. (I do believe .m2v files show in the other media section)
