Windows 7 - WMP12 Wont play video files!

Installed AC3Filter, all the codecs.. WMP player plays my AVIS fine before, now i updated my video card and all AVIS will not work! When i switch my sound to "Speakers" - it will not load the avi... but when i use Digital Audio High definition bus the avi VIDEO works fine, but there is no audio.. Completely confused about this, i tried uninstalling all codecs, reinstalling.. same with video card/sound card...

I cant afford PowerDVD, VLC is not too good with Windows 7, and i need to watch my mkv files tonight! :O

Are you using the default settings for AC3? I used to have a volume problem but i cleared it up by adjusting the gain in AC3 to +15. At the default level I cant hear any audio.

What other codecs do you haev installed and what kind of sound & video card do you have?

I fixed it with Shark Win7Codecs.

Yea the whole VLC pixel issue is still there, but WMP works fine for now.
