Is there an equivalent to Microsoft Picture-It for Windows 7?

Coming from XP I really miss Picture-It. Easy to use with just the basic functions that I use, including combining several photos to make a single new picture.

Is there anything similar for Windows 7?

I'm not familiar with Picture It so can't tell you what might be equivalent. Have you tried the free IrfanView? It has the ability to combine several pictures into a panoramic picture.

Very basic edit functions and, most importantly, doesn't try to take control over every photo file as Picassa and Arcsoft do.

A composite picture can be any size.

As good as Irfanview is (I use it frequently for mass image and filename editing), it doesn't hold a candle to Picture It! 7.0, the last version to come out, especially for ease of use. I also wish there was an as easy to use program to replace Picture It!

Btw, Picture It! 7.0 will work with Win 7 but is past EOL (End of Life for security update).
