How do you edit "Media Type"???

So several of my movies are showing up in the Other Media library instead of in the Videos library. When I right click->Properties->File on them it says "Media type: Other". Question is how do I change this to read "Videos" so they'll appear in my Videos library?? Tried using Mp3tag and manually editing the MEDIATYPE field in Extended Tags but that didn't work.

It may be labeling and sorting them by extension (a hunch here...)

Are all the videos the same extension (such as .mp4)?

I have a similar problem. When I click on a video file on my desktop it just has the audio but when I click on the same video on OneDrive I have the video and the audio. When I look at the media type it says others. How do I change it so it says Videos? Please reply before 11th July because I am making a presentation for a friend.

Where is "VIEW", "ARRANGE ICONS BY", "TYPE"
One feature I really liked in XP was the ability to look in a folder through My Computer and sort the files by extension. For example if I wanted to get all .jpg files to one side of the folder as I looked for a file, I could click View, Arrange Icons By, Type and make that happen. I don't see...

I'm trying to fix my girlfriend's Windows 7 laptop after she had a virus/malware infection. I'm pretty sure we've successfully cleared the virus (an updated/full scan with Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware in safe mode comes up clean). However, we have had no Internet access since the infection. The...
