In WMP's library, click Album on the left to view all albums. Then, click the Release year column to sort the albums by year.

Hope this helps,
John

jocks answer is the right one, though its not always accurate and you will probably have tons of unknown release year albums.
it depends on the tags.

- hey, thanks guys..

- wasn't precise enough with my question..
- wanted to sort the individual artist's listing for albums by year
- you gave me enough of a clue, though..

I did it like this, via the "Organize" option:

- felicitations..!!
