    OK Steve, I looked at his original capture again and saw the hash marks. Over all it looks like it's a 800x600 video enlarged and it's starting to pixelate.

    i have reinstalled windows 7 changed graphics card updated all drivers, changed monitor and still have problem. i am now going to install vlc and uninstall windows media player........
