Playback speed in Windows Media Player

Hi,

Having a problem I with video playback in Media Player.

When using Vista I had the option to change the video playback speed and lock that slider into the panel showing the video.

However, in 7 I can go under the "enhancements" window and choose playback speed and am forced with the slider only showing up in a seperate window. When I shut down Media Player, that panel no longer displays and I have to go through the steps above to get it to display again.

Anyone know of a way I can lock the playback speed slider into the pane showing the video like I could under Vista???
