Windows Movie Maker lowers my Full HD(1080p) video quality

Hello,

I wanted to cut a video I took with my 1080p camera, in order to be able to upload it.
I did manage to cut it and to reduce the size, but the quality of the video is really bad now.

I cut the movie and when I wanted to save I did "Save Movie > For high-definition display" and it reduced the quality nevertheless.

What did I do wrong?
