    IrfanView will also do batch conversions/renames with a watermark. It's also free. I've been using it for about 15 years.

    Always test your watermark on one picture first.

Can anyone tell me a good way to lower the file size of jpg files other than just resizing the image? I want to use an image for the start-up page but it needs to be lower than 256kb to work. (The image I want to use is 1.8Mb) Thanks
