    Any Spotify users here

    Hi all
Any Spotify users here on W7 X-64.

What's the quality like -- Should be greater than 160 mb/s - 256 or 320 for mp3 compression for tolerable listening.

Can you also save tracks to PC and then copy then to USB / other music media or are the tracks riddled with DRM -- the absolute bugbear of digital music collections. (You can always record analog in Real time however but that's a pain).

I'm currently using Squeezebox which also plays WMA and FLAC but Spotify looks interesting.

    Cheers

spotify me 32bit quality is good to very good on a fat pipe. Yes to record, no drm, have copied but not to usb.

They have really good index to search, a que for future songs. I like them for hard to find tracks.

they may be invite only for free service. pay is open

    Hi there
Have had a free invite for a while but not used it yet -- I'll fire it up on a VM in case I don't like it -- I don't want to mess up my Squeeze box / server settings. It should run on a virtual XP machine just fine (and I've oodles of bandwidth).

    Cheers
