    "Import Pictures and Video" explorer.exe file association error

    When using the Import Pictures and Video autoplay (for instance, when scanning an image) and checking the "open windows explorer after import" box in the Import Settings, I get an explorer.exe error: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action."

    The file is properly saved, but the explorer window doesn't open automatically and I get the mentioned error instead.

    Turns out this problem is with explorer.exe in general, as I can't run it from the command prompt, either.

    Why would I use a screenshot instead of an actual link to the solution?

    I meant use our upload feature instead of a host.

    Ah, I wasn't the one who uploaded the registry file, I found the link through another site, but can upload here as well.

    No problem, it is a preferred method here, over a possibly dodgy host.

    Thanks for posting your solution.

    For those curious about the content of the reg file above,

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\opennewwindow]
    "OnlyInBrowserWindow"=""
    "LaunchExplorerFlags"=dword:00000001
    "MUIVerb"="@shell32.dll,-8517"
    "MultiSelectModel"="Document"

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\opennewwindow\command]
    "DelegateExecute"="{11dbb47c-a525-400b-9e80-a54615a090c0}"

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\cmd]
    "Extended"=""
    @="@shell32.dll,-8506"
    "NoWorkingDirectory"=""
    "MUIVerb"="@shell32.dll,-8506"

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\cmd\command]
    @="cmd.exe /s /k pushd \"%V\""
