Windows Photo Gallery display name under picture

Hi, is there a way to display the name of the picture under Windows Photo Gallery? Right now, it only show the date and the time but no name of picture. The name of the pictures, tags, etc is in the right pane only. I like it to look like when viewing in Windows Explorer. Thanks

    Hi slam5,

Your thread is marked solved - care to share what you did?

I found a few help pages, but I'm running Win8 and the pages keep taking me to Win8 help.

I did find a few references to tagging and batch naming - but I think all you're looking for (or found) is a way to display the filename along with the date & time.

    Solution

Ok, here is what I found. If you go to choose how to display icon. The one on the top right corner where you can choose how the thumbnails are displayed. When you click on it, it show option of "thumbnail" "thumbnail with text" or "tile". Choose "tile" and you will see the name of the picture, tags and date modified. It took me a few hours.
