Images saving to PC too small

Hi hope someone can help.

No matter what size image I choose to download from net it is always much smaller then the original image dimensions. I have tried at least 20 and never get one over 450 x 180.

Eg. Last one I tried had original specs of 967 x 265, after saving to my pictures it is now 429 x 117.

This is really annoying me, please help.

Thanks.

I would just resize them - e.g. with FastStone Image Viewer.

Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Where are these images can you post to a site and point out an image you want ?
Also does the site offer a download image or are you using Save picture as ?
Allot of times sites will show more or less a Preview of an image and not the original size of the image.
Cheers.
