Open an mp3 in Winamp rather than the browser player window

I'm stumped as to know how to reset a stream that opens in the browser window as a default and have it open in Winamp (for example) instead.

I've simply forgotten under which control console item in Win 7 that this should happen.

The goal is once this is set, the browser can navigate away from the stream and the stream will continue to play until the player is closed.

Is this a stand alone file on the PC ?

If so just right click it, choose open with, then pick the default player you want, if it`s listed.

Maybe if I got the right phrase for 'select default audio player' to open an mp3?
