    Yep I would look into and use Onedrive or google drive to sync your images this way you might have a back up some where else beside just the card

    Yep sorry,
    But you at least know what can happen,
    Cell phones use apps most are free to sync images to the cloud
    That is recommended to use although I manually transfer images from my iphone 4 without issue,
    It does not have a removable card but then again I don't know if my card reader even works I've never used it I have a I guess firewire that doubles with the charging cable.

    Could also albeit a long shot,
    These cards although I have no idea why have a small lock switch on the side of them that can too easily be switched to the locked position inserting them
    Something to confirm :/
