    Import Pictures not found

I tried to import pictures from my iPad to my laptop.

When I connected my iPad to my laptop, I received the option to import pictures using Windows Import. after several minutes of scanning my iPad, 200+ pictures were found and began importing. I selected the option to erase after importing, but I can not find the pictures on my laptop.

The import process took several minutes to complete, but I can not find them, where did they go?

    Hi
By default they should go in the my picture folder. Have you opened up explorer and search for them? Have you tried searching them by file name in the search feature of windows?

I did that as well. I copied 5 pictures over and they are on my laptop. The original 200+ are gone off the iPad and not on my laptop.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Click the start button and click on your user name listed just below your user picture,
Then on the top right search box type in the box,
    .img

    See what populates,
    Cheers.

    Hi,
Do you recall a popup message on the ipad saying to allow access to your device,
I get it every time on an iphone.
Do you have iTunes installed on the windows machine ?

YEs ITunes is installed on the laptop.

Not sure on the popup message. But the laptop did recognize the iPad.

Try PhotoRec utility (part of Test Disk) to see if you can recover them in iPad. PhotoRec - Digital Picture and File Recovery
Try it on hard disk if above fail.
