Windows 7 will not show thumbnails anymore. Help?

I updated Realplayer Cloud to Realtimes and it made all of my new downloads to use the generic white sheet and musical note picture as the thumbnail.

I uninstalled it thinking it would fix the problem, but it didn't. I was getting fed up and I went to google, found this (https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/a...d-videos-on-PC) and followed the instructions and restarted my PC and now most of my thumbnails are gone. It still wont generate thumbnails for any downloads too.

Can I fix this? Or am I too deep and can't revert this?

Will a system restore help fix this? Thank you

Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
I'm not familiar with either player or why you refer to these files as downloads instead of videos ?

But none the less right click one of the files and click on Open with and see if the player is listed if so click on it.

If not listed you'll have to browse and file the program and open one manually.
The player depending on what the file type is actually produces the thumbnail preview not windows unless it's a wmv.. file type.
cheers.

New tab thumbnails don't show in Firefox
Firefox 15.0.1 When I open a new tab the thumbnails flash for a split second, but then disappear to leave a blank page. It worked previously, but I don't recall if I already had version 15 then. I read that this may be caused by a full cache, so I cleared it, but even after visiting several...
