    Video, Flash, and Gaming Problems

OK, so my laptop has three problems:
-It sometimes plays videos, sometimes doesn't
-It has problems with Flash sometimes, sometimes doesn't
-It will not play Europa Universalis 4 (Website: Europa Universalis IV) (Wiki: Europa Universalis 4 Wiki) (Paradox Forum Page: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...rsalis-iv.731/)

Does anyone have any idea why and how to stop it? It's so annoying!

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
You didn't say which browser or if all browsers have the same issue,
First links preview of the game worked okay in ie10 without flash player installed so you might uninstall it,

Not sure what the 2nd link was for ?
Third produced a popup message of blocked content

    All browsers have that issue.
OK, I'll just tell you this about the game (if you need more info let me know): It probably akes up a lot of memory.
    Would that cause the problem?
Also, my laptop just refuses to do Steam in general, besides update.

    Hi,
    Sorry for the delay response
Well Steam or did you mean stream ?
Steam is for gaming which not many laptops are that powerful to do that but your not showing enough system spec's to tell if you could or not game :/

    Use Clean boot,
Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup
Click Start and type in the search box,
    msconfig
Click on the suggestion on top or hit the Enter key,
Go to the Startup section and take some screen shots for a complete list,
Go to the Services section and on the bottom left Check the box to Hide All Microsoft services,
    Repeat the screen shots,
See the links above my signature on how to take and upload screen shots here,
    Cheers.

    AV

I see NO antivirus shown on your specs do you have 1 ???
For the first step if you havn't got one download Microsofts own, (MSE secucurity essentials)
Also download Malwarebytes anti malware (uncheck trial version)

Then update and run them both.

Firefox now automatically dissables OUT OF DATE versions of Adobe flash, check that its upto date
    (Hence no video play)

    Besides doesn't update
    Update what??
