Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Where are the files stored in this library you keep having to create ?
Another partition on the same drive as the os or a totally different drive
If a separate drive is it a internal drive or an external drive and how is it connected usb or ..... ?

The files are on an internal drive, separate from os.

Hi
Thanks
Please fill in your system spec's page and use the link above my signature to use the forum utility to do it for you automatically

Sounds like for some reason the second drive is being disconnected and the library links are being broken

I think that might be the problem, last week at least twice now, the drive ive been having this problem with randomly changed from local disk e - to local disk f - or something. Now weirdly that hasnt happened since this problem with wmp, but i thought i should mention it. Thanks so far for your help.

Hi,
Could be a mother board sata port issue ?
Not normal for drive letters to change for no reason.

A lot more system information would go a long way possibly
