    youtube won't work on 7


    Hello,

    Youtube will not stream on IE, Firefox, Chrome. It freezes up the browser. I have installed the latest shockwave flash player. I'm currently running Windows 7 Home 32bit

    Please help

    Do you have the same issue in Firefox if you are running with all extensions turned off?

    Yes, the same problem occurs if extensions are off on firefox. As for what the youtube video not working forum said, I have already uninstalled and reinstalled shockwave many times.

    Did you also reinstalled ActiveX ?

    Yes. I did. It still does not work...hulu, youtube, anything..

    can you type event viewer is search go to the windoes logs>application tab. Look for errors (red in left hand column) that mention app hang, or apps crash, etc. when you find the ones that are most relevant note the event ID and source. let us know what it is

    can you also check you DEP settings. Its in system control panel>advanced>performance settings. default is windows apps only what is yours set to?
