Clicking on one movie and another opens

Hi,

I seem to have a peculiar problem with my Seagate 1TB external HDD running on 32bit win7. I have transferred movies to this HDD with different formats and am using it as my media storage but when I open Southpark movie files...Videos of Modern Family keep playing.

I have tried rebuilding the Index files but to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

I would say start over, delete what you have on the external and copy it over again.

Problem still there ?

Dumb question but, are you positive it`s Southpark ?

How would you ever wind up with Modern Family video on your PC on purpose

Well that would probably solve it but I would lose many of the videos as it all seems going haywire....2 and half men plays boston legal instead.

Modern Family is not really my choice...was copied by my gf

When you click on the original file, does it play the right thing ?

Some videos play the right thing while others play another video from the HDD.

GF could be the problem. Some people don't understand the differences between SAVE and SAVE AS.

Nope thats not it either...I used to watch southpark earlier plus my gf is a techie

I suspect the file indexes have gotten corrupt...this is only happening on my external HDD movies and not my laptop HDD...Perhaps it may gotten screwed when I unplugged the HDD while running...Just a thought.
