    Advice re-sizing videos for tablet

    Hey guys,

I am about to have to travel quite a lot and in order to keep me entertained just acquired a new 7" android tablet. It is now rooted and set up just the way I want.

Even though it got a 64gb SD card, it would be nice to pack it with tv shows and movies.

Would you have an advice to choose a software capable of resizing those videos so that they are lighter? I mean 1080p is nice on my tv but a bit unnecessary on a 7" screen ;-)

Thanks in advance for your input and a happy new year!

Have a look at this, you need VLC Convert, Resize and Cut videos with VLC Media Player

Handbrake is good for resizing and converting to mp4. You can adjust output bitrate to give the required filesize, and set up a queue for batch converting.
