MediaMonkey » Free Media Jukebox, Music Manager, CD Ripper & Converter should have everything you need.

It is designed from the ground up to work with large collections of media and I never need anything else to handle 25,000+ Music tracks and Hundreds of videos.

It's fully skinnable so can fit in to your visual themes.

I've been using the Gold, (pro), version for years so not totally sure what is extra in gold over standard but worth a look.

Not sure about Music Bee - but I know there is a ASIO driver Plugin for MediaMonkey :)

VLC media player is popluar. Include that on your list.

You were and still are absolutely right! VLC Media Player is extremely popular.

However, when I put VLC Media Player on the list, I was under the impression that it offered audio file conversion capabilities just like JRiver Media Center.

In my original post, when I said I wanted all of the same features that WinAmp PRO and JRiver Media Center offered, I certainly never expected to get ALL of the features, but being able to convert between different types of audio files was one of the more important capabilities. FYI... Converting FLAC to MP3 is perhaps the conversion I do most frequently.

So, VLC Media Player needs to come back off the list and I should probably delist any other player that do not offer audio file conversion.

WOW... The things we learn every day!

    Appreciatively,

VLC can convert audio files, you just didn't research how to.
