    Video Playback and Aero in Win7


    Hi, Whenever my aero theme is on, the my video's have really poor quality, except for when i play them in wmp12. But When i switch to basic, the video plays well. What is the problem? I have the latest Video Drivers, and I've tried lots of codecs including k-lite, cccp and win7 codecs.

    Isnt there a way to play my videos without having to use the crappy windows basic theme?

    It is amazing how many times I hear this same thing from people. I guess you are required to have decent video if you plan to use aero at all and still do other things.
