Free, Online, Simple To Use Photo Album Sharing Site Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a free site that allows me to upload photos from my pc and organise them into albums? I have very basic needs, which are just to be able to use a link from a photo site to allow others to either view a single photo, or a collection of my photos in an album. I'm not into social media, so any links I use will usually either be posted in posts on internet forums like this one, or maybe in an email.

I'm really looking for something simple and uncomplicated. I went wrong a few years ago with a photo sharing site, where I posted a link on a forum to allow others to view an album, and they told me that the link I had posted allowed them total user access to my photo sharing account. Not sure how this happened - think it was on Photobucket. I am anxious to prevent this happening again.

Any advice appreciated.

One Word answer - Flickr

Free version comes with 1TB of storage and allows unlimited albums and you can control fully what access viewers have - View, Comment, download a copy, full access etc on an image or album level

this link should take you directly to one of my albums https://www.flickr.com/photos/barman...57633602845787

Thanks Barman/Nigel. That's exactly what I want. I have heard of Flickr, but didn't really know exactly what it is all about. Will get myself registered and set up there.

P.S. Really enjoyed your landscape photos - they are amazing!

Looking for a simple photo viewer
Can anyone recommend a simple photo viewer that all you have to do is select a folder (and not a library) and just tell the viewer to cycle the photos in full screen mode? I don't want to create photo libraries.
