Read-only Attribute Keeps Reappearing

Hi Folks,

This is driving me mad...

Tried to edit some songs in iTunes 12 and couldn't.

Found that the 'My Music' folder (and also the iTunes and iTunes Media folders) have a 'Read Only' attribute which, even when cleared, re-sets itself immediately.

Have even gone into the folder properties > security tab to look at and change if necessary the permissions
on the folder.

Permissions for SYSTEM and my User Account are set to 'Full Control' and I changed 'WMPNetworkSvc' to 'Full Control' as well, however there are two other groups/user accounts - one which seems particularly suspect.

They are 'Home Users (Main-PC\Home Users)' and 'Account Unknown (S-1-5-21-3804351167-4107182424-2651067984-1004)' which both have only 'Read & Execute', 'List folder contents' and 'Read' set to 'Allow'

Could these be causing the problem?

As an aside - any idea what the 'Account Unknown' is?!?

Would it be OK to set the permissions of both of these groups/users to 'Full Control' - especially as I don't know what the 'Account Unknown' group/user is (and don't like the sound of it either).

Any help gratefully received.

Zaph
