How can I get an audio file to play automatically in an email?

Hello,

is it possible to get an audio file to play automatically in an email, once the person who receives the email opens it?

Thank you

No, a self executing file.
Would that not remind you of a Virus?

The recipient of the Email would have to choose to execute the file.

There are all kinds of malicious possibilities for what you wish to do. I don't think anyone would care to help with that. I for one would not appreciate receiving such an email, even if it didn't work.

I agree now likely you don't have any malicious intentions however that can be used/abused if not by hackers then by spammers. I would find it very annoying even if it isn't a threat; I hate it even when webpages start playing video automatically. Email is handled differently than a webpage.
