Can we show details of pics while browsing them in Win Photo Viewer?

I noticed that for each pic I have to manually

right click > properties > details

to get basic details of each pic, and a lot of the time my pics don't fill up the screen anyway. Is there a way to show details in the photo viewer while browsing them (similar to OSX) in Windows 7?
I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this!
