    Video Not Playing Properly

My mobile phone(LG KC910 Renoir) records higher quality video's into .avi files encoded in what i believe to be DivX, these video's play fine on the XP media player however when i try to import them to a movie editing program such as Adobe Premier CS4 the video's appear as black with the sound perfectly in tact.

However on windows 7 the media player will not play the video's properly as they appear as just black with the sound playing perfectly in tact.

I have tried downloading the K-Lite codec pack and downloading the DivX codec individually however installing these has not helped.

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this, or is it simply the phone at fault?

Remove all your codec packs and install the 7 codecs from shark007.net

I've found it's the most reliable for 7.

After you install Shark007's Win7 Codecs, you can attempt to use it's "settings application" to adjust which codecs and splitters are used for the file type you are having trouble with, until you, hopefully, find a combination that works.
