    Libraries

My son surprised me and loaded Windows 7 for me. My pictures are not located in the system Pictures library, but instead he put them in a folder, My Pictures. This folder is included under the C drive and my userid. When I click on the Picures library, I get this error: Pictures.library-ms is no longer working.

None of the libraries are working. I get the same error for Documents, Music and Videos. Can this be fixed or do I have to re-install Windows 7? My previous OS was XP. Please help....my picture software will not work anymore.

    Thank you !!

If you check out the tutorials here Shawn has created a step by step instruction set to restore the original libraries

    Libraries - Restore Default

If you follow this you should be back to normal

Thanks Nigel, The" Restore Default Libraries" did not work. I ran the sfc /scannow and that did not help either. What should I do next?
    Thank you for your help.

Did you try deleting the existing libraries, (not the original folders ), and then run the restore option in the tutorial?

    That has worked for some
