Windows 7: How to recover files that were in windows.old?

I'm looking for 2 pics I had just screenies of itunes so I can see what the playcount of the songs were.
Anyway I did custom install and took everything I neeed from windows.old but forgot those 2 pics but now I've deleted the windows.old folder through the disk cleaner.

Is there a way to recover those files?? Oh yeah they were in the my pictures in old windows folder.

I downloaded recuva but don't udnerstand it so well

When I first ran recuva, it opened to a wizard. Select pics/next then I'm not sure (search everywhere)/next and start. You can check the deep scan box, but it will take more time. If you don't see the wizard, then select your C drive and in the search box dropdown select pics and hit the scan button.

You will then have to search through all the found files for the ones you want.
