Pausing the photo screensaver? I'm getting my mum's new 64-bit Windows 7 HP Pavillion all set up for her, and I have hit a minor snag. When the photo screensaver is running, you can use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move forward and backward through the pictures, but it won't pause. In XP, you could always push the down arrow to pause the screensaver in order to look at a picture longer, but that only ends the screensaver in 7. I've also noticed the same problem in Vista. Is there some way I can pause the photo screensaver and not "wake up" the computer, or did Mr. Gates decide to discontinue the feature after XP?
Thanks, folks! | My System Specs |

Sorry Nexton, your feature must have been discontinued, unless you can find an option in the settings. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Intel i7 2600K OC'd @ 4620 MHz Motherboard Asus P8Z68-V Pro Memory 16GB GSkill Sniper 2133 Mhz (4x4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 SuperClocked+ Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays 2x Acer S273HLbmii 27" Screen Resolution 2 x 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech MK320 (wireless) Mouse Logitech MK320 (wireless) PSU Corsair HW Series 750w (modular) Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Blue Edition Cooling CM Hyper 212+ CPU cooler, 3x 230mm + 1x 140mm case fans Hard Drives 64GB Crucial M4 SSD

There's no option in the settings, of course. I think I'll try Google's photo screensaver before I give up all hope, though. Thanks for your help anyway, Jonathan! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Litton Rugged Notebook (Rough Rider III), Acer Aspire 5610, Dell Optiplex GX280 OS MenuetOS, Windows 95, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional x86 |

You should also know that the "My Pictures Slideshow" screensaver from XP will work in 7. Copy the file "ssmypics.scr" into your Windows 7 screensaver folder and you can use it again!
