Wallpaper doesn't save after reboot

Here's what's happening.

I'll set an image as my wallpaper, and then once I reboot the computer, my wallpaper is no longer what i set it to, but a plain black background.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

What version of Windows 7 are you running? Also, how are you setting the background as wallpaper?

That may be the problem. Is the file association a .jpg or .png?
