    Starting Integrated Webcam

    Dell Latitude E6330
    Windows 7 64 bit

How do I start the integrated webcam on my laptop?
I see it in device manager under imaging devices as "Integrated Webcam."
And I have also run diagnostic test through the bios and the integrated webcam passed the test.
I have also downloaded the camera firmware update from the dell website.
I am assuming everything is okay, but cannot find it anywhere on my computer.
I do not see it under devices and printers...shouldn't there be a camera icon?

On my E6430 there is no camera under Devices and Printers.

You need an app to make use of the camera. If you're using something like Zoom/Skype/et al, for example, it will see a camera is available and use it in the app. Just start Zoom and it will pick it up.

Some add-on cameras may come with a third-party app that will let you look at yourself, but that's just to keep you happy. It doesn't really let you do much more than that, and it's irrelevant when using another app because the other app will tap into the camera itself.
