    Does anyone know how to setup WMP to play FLAC with Sharks Codecs??

    Dunno.... I was under the impression that Sharks codecs could handle just about anything... right now im using VLC, but would like to use WMP....

    It can be done, because my uncle set mine up so that it will.....but I don't know how he did it.
    I usually use Mediamonkey, but for playback I've started using WMP12 more often because it has cooler visualizations.

    It's very easy...Open the Shark007 Settings application...flip to the Help tab...hit the WMP filetype associations button...Hit the "Yes" button...your ready to play your FLAC's (and MKV's too)!!!!

    flac works fine for me in wmp and i have the codec pack installed, i didnt have to change anything to get it to work, just right click open with make default program

    also, if you're an x64 user, toggling the default WMP to x64,
    and back to 32bit will setup standalone FLAC playback in x64 Media Center too.
