| Windows 7 1 posts | Prevent Modified timestamp from changing when tagging? I would like to organize my media collection (pictures, music, videos) by tagging and rating those files. However, doing so causes the Modified timestamp of the file to change to the current time. The original Modified timestamp is important to me for archival purposes. I know I can use use programs to manually change the attribute to the original timestamp, however that is very inconvenient, especially for a large media collection. Is there a way to prevent the Modified timestamp from changing for media files when tagging and rating? |
