    Picture viewer with color management..

    When using WinXP I use ACDSee Pro 2.5 that supports color management (ICC profiles in Windows) but in Win7 it crashed many times/ or runs veeery
    slow when loading previews of RAW files. Is there some other alternative program for viewing RAW images with color management feature and fully functionable in Win7 ??

    What kind of Camera? I have Canon's and run DPP and Photoshop and both programs run great in Windows 7. A free viewer you can try that works with plugins is Irfanview.

    Yes PS is for editing photographs but not for viewing when I want to see
    for ex. 100 PEF files from Pentax camera. I think that Irfan doesn´t support
    color management.

    EDIT: ..as wrote some user of IV from forum:

    "I think that's not real color management. It just takes profile from image and converts it to sRGB:
    source profile -> sRGB

    It works only, if your monitor is calibrated exactly to sRGB. Normally when you calibrate your monitor you get own ICC-profile for your monitor which is not sRGB.

    Right way to do things (or tell OS to do):
    source profile -> monitor profile

    It would be really cool to get real color management to Irfanview. Thats only way to get same looking picture in Photoshop and Irfanview with calibrated monitor."

    When you install Photoshop it installs Bridge as well, which is the software that what would actually be used for what you describe above.
