    Blue symbol on Thumbnails

As I view pictures (Jpeg) in my picture folders a blue square with two symbols >> show up on the thumbnails. It covers half the thumbnail. Anyone know what it is and how do I get rid of it!

    Hi TonyR42,

Those are called "backup status overlays" and they are part of Norton 360's Automatic Backup feature. Go into Norton 360 options and uncheck the box for backup status overlays. Your files should no longer have that ugly blue box, but will still be backed up by Norton 360 if you so desire :)

    Cheers,

Norton Backup causes blues arrows >>

This is caused by Norton. I had this same problem. Once you access any image blue arrows appear on the image and thumbnail.

To remove blue arrows >> Open Norton and select BACKUP - then select "manage backup sets" - on the bottom right corner - deselect > Use Icon Overlays. That should fix it!
