User folder missing music and pictures

Hi, i had just recently bought a new harddrive and decided to format and reinstall windows etc. once windows was reinstalled i had designated the drives to where the location of my music, downloads and pictures are kept which are on a seperate HDD.. while still processing and cleaning my HDD's as i wanted to make everything neat and tidy i went and decided to change drive letters for my devices so it was more neat (visually). Now once i did this i had seemed to lost the so called shortcuts or folders in my user folder. I am wondering to how i can get these folders back in my user directory and while im at it, when i select the location for the folders for such it changes the icon to the contents in the folder instead of the standard music / pictures / video folder icon.
