I just install the 7077 verision os, but all the mkv format video and rmvb,rm cannot display thumbnails.
I used 7000 beta and everything is ok. I tried installing 7057, the same problem as 7077. All the drivers are installed.
Can someone solve my problem. If it cannot be solved, maybe it's better to regress to 7000 and wait for the official version____rc
This is a codec issue, you would need to download the latest codecs in order to view/play the files. When you got them working in 7000 was it as an upgrade or did you fresh install? If this is the case then you would have already had the codecs downloaded on your previous OS. I have the same issue here but have not d/loaded the codecs yet.
NOTE: it's always been the same with Matroska video & real media video

I'm using the shark007 codecs, the version is the latest. And I download it after installing the os. And I've never tried to upgrade a os, I just format the disk c and install 7077.
I don't think it's the codecs issue, as I installed the same codecs in 7000 and everything's fine.
I searthed the internet for a whole afternoon and no solution comes up.

Download the Divx installer and run it. Uncheck everything EXCEPT DivX Plus Tech Preview: MKV on Windows 7.
After that, you should be set.
