FLAC files constantly losing association

Hi
I have a number of FLAC files in my Music folder.
Although I have set an association for these to play in Foobar Windows 7 keeps forgetting this and I get the usual message: Windows can't open this file etc... so I have to reset it.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Hey, Fantastico! That works.
I was a little dubious at first since WMP is not my player of choice - I'm very satisfied with Foobar - however, Win 7 at last remembers what a FLAC file is.
Thanks for help.

when you set flac to open with foobar... you right clicked/open with/choose default program/foobar... but before hitting ok did you check box to always use that program as default?? just checking...lol i missed it b4

Yeah, that's what I tried to start of with but Windows 7 didn't remember it.
The codec sorted it out fine
Thanks
